Wearablle Sculpture
We designed four wearable soft sculptures that, when worn by children, give them oversized hands, arms, bodies, and embraces—transforming their appearance into beings larger than adults. In this form, parents can lean on their children like little ones, and children can protect their parents like grown-ups. This reversal of roles reshapes the visual and physical relationship between protector and protected.
Through this transformation, we hope to create an opportunity for adults to recognize that children are independent and complete individuals, and for children to realize that adults also need care and affection.
与Siyan Liu合作的作品。我们设计了四个可穿戴的软雕塑，孩子们穿着后会拥有巨大的手掌、臂膀、身体和怀抱，在形态上孩子成了比大人更大的人。此时，家长可以像小孩一样依偎着孩子，孩子可以像大人一样保护家长，从形态上让保护者和被保护者的关系得以交换。我们想通过这样的互换中制造契机，让大人可以意识到孩子是独立完整的人，让孩子也能意识到大人的也需要被关爱。
