Mentionso, founded in 2017 by Sunguaiwu, is a studio based in Shanghai. Its members come from diverse backgrounds, including art, design, and engineering. The studio views design as an ethical manifesto and a tool for sparking discussion. Within the Chinese social and cultural context, it actively engages with various issues through useless design, design activism, design fiction, and social design, striving to create a better future society. Additionally, the studio actively pursues diverse commercial collaborations, including but not limited to event planning and execution, design consulting, and workshop development, exploring various possibilities with partners from all sectors.
